Drake Unfollows His Own Artist Here Is Why He Is Beefing With The Weeknd

Drake has unfollowed The Weeknd on  Instagram. It’s kind of a big deal being that The Weeknd is considered one of his artists.

Drakes snub is believed to be due to the fact that The Weeknd reportedly dissed him in his latest song Lost In the Fire.

Some of the lyrics read: “And I just want a baby with the right one/I just want a baby with the right/ ‘Cause I could never be the one to hide one/I could never be the one to hide.”

Fans have speculated that the XO founder is talking about Drake’s scandal from 2018. The world found out that he was the father to a son of an adult film actress.

On Drizzy’s album, Scorpion, the Canadian native talks about the fact that he wasn’t ‘hiding his son from the world’ but rather ‘hiding the world from his son.’

The two popular musicians have been rumored to be beefing for quite some time now.

When Bella Hadid and Abel Tesfaye broke up in 2016, In My Feelings singer allegedly took Bella out for a few dates. Not to mention that he gave a nod to the Hadid sisters in his song Finesse.

Drake raps: “One thing at a time/I have to learn to hide/One thing at a time/Emotions running high/I wish you felt alright/Should I do New York, I can’t decide, Fashion Week is more your thing than mine/You and your sister/Too hot to handle.”

He also mentioned the girls’ father, Mohamed Hadid in Sandra’s Rose.

There has been a rumor that Drake isn’t letting artists like PartyNextDoor and The Weeknd release music as much as they want to.

Abel and Bella have since reunited and the 28-year-old is working on another album. However, considering the recent battle between the two, it’s clear that the Toronto natives are not on good terms.
